Revenues and Support:
Total Educational Revenues Per Full-Time Equivalent Student

For the Year

Total Educational Revenues Per Full-Time Equivalent Student

Why is this important?

This measure is an indicator of the overall resources available for general operating expenses in the state's higher education system. High levels do not guarantee quality. Very low levels, however, raise questions as to whether the necessary resources are available to foster high levels of learning.

What are the policy implications?

The level of support for higher education and the shares to be borne by the various funders, especially the state and students
